Even More Info
When it comes to making the most of that all important first impression you need a card that makes an impact through great design printed on high quality stock. Now when it comes to that even more important ‘lasting impression’ what you need is information. So when you can unfold your folded business card and it doubles the amount of information a standard one has it becomes a powerful business introducer. Best of all your new marketing tool will still fit in a wallet, purse or back pocket. Now the big question is what do you do with all this newly found advertising space apart from the usual logo and contact details. Below we give some of the most popular ideas we’ve seen for a folding business card, if you have a great use then let us know and we will add it to the line-up.
Design Genius:
This one is the most obvious, use this extra space and a cool design to stand out from the crowd. Maybe if you are a website designer then you could make the outside of you card when folded look like a laptop case and once open it shows the screen and keyboard. Another idea if you are a builder or roofer you could have the outside of your car just showing roof tiles, so when semi-opened and face down it resembles a roof. Think about your business and how you could design your cards in a clever way to suit your business.
QR Code:
QR codes never became as popular as we all thought they would but what is a great use for them is to link it to a web page and once a month change what is shown on the page without the need for new cards.
Calendar:
The great thing about including a calendar on your folded business card is it gives the customer a reason to keep hold of it for future use. Need we say more?
Loyalty Stamp Section:
Depending on what you offer you could include a loyalty stamp grid offering incentives to your customers. An example of this is if you was a hairdresser, after having 9 hair cuts your number 10 is totally free!
Portfolio Of Previous Work:
With all this extra space why not add some high quality images of previous work you have carried out or if you are an artist be sure to include some of your recent work so to wet the appetite of your potential clients.
Customer Reviews:
When a customer chooses to do business with you part of what helps them decide is social proof. After all nobody wants to be the first to use a company or be the first to buy a product. So to overcome this why not use some of your customer testimonials to reassure your folded business card recipient.
Map Of Your Business Location:
When you're out and about dropping in on potential clients why not make it easy for them to follow up. Encourage them to visit your offices next time by including a map with your business placed in the middle of the graphic.
Introductory Special Offers:
Why not encourage your new potential clients to take action with a special introductory offer. Maybe make it something for a small cost or a free report depending on your business. This helps build trust and will make it easier for them to do paid business with you in the future.
Trade Groups and Awards:
Increase your customers trust in your business by including some further information about either awards you have won or trade groups you are part of.
White Space:
The final idea for your design is probably the simplest, leave it blank. This can be several lines of dots for writing on or include the heading ‘Notes’ it’s up to you or even for future appointments with your potential clients.
Whatever you choose, just remember to make the most of this extra space, it just might make the difference between clinching that next deal or not. Looking for inspiration, You can find some fancier ones here folded business card/a> although some of these designs include features we cannot currently offer, however it does not hurt to look though!
Delivery Information
When Will I Receive My Order?
You will receive your order the next working day after dispatch. So if you ordered before midnight on Monday your order would be printed and dispatched on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday.
How much is delivery?
So that we can keep our individual printing prices low but our delivery quality high, we charge £4.95 for each complete order to be delivered, we use Parcelforce fully tracked 24hr delivery for this service. Some companies inflate the price of their products and then advertise "free delivery" where in reality, they include delivery in the product price which means, you are paying delivery per item instead of per order.
